Capistrano Adult School

As part of the Capistrano Unified School District, Capistrano Adult School serves individuals and families residing in the cities of Aliso Viejo, Dana Point, Laguna Niguel, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente, and San Juan Capistrano and the unincorporated communities of Coto de Caza, Dove Canyon, Ladera Ranch, Las Flores, and Wagon Wheel. Founded in 1965, the district encompasses 195 square miles; it is the largest employer in south Orange County.

Capistrano Adult School serves approximately 5,000 Latino residents each year in English as a Second Language, Family Literacy (Capistrano Family English- CAFE) EL Civics Technology, High School Diploma/GED, and Adult Basic Education. ESL, ESL-Family Literacy, EL Civics and VESL classes are currently offered at approximately 25 sites throughout the Capistrano Unified School District, including the Adult Education Center, other, CUSD schools, occasionally churches, community centers and workplaces.
